Synopsis
The hypnotic music of Triadic Memories by American composer Morton Feldman forms the backbone of the visual mantra conceived by Luigi De Angelis as a personal exploration of the ruins of Ani, the ancient Armenian capital, and the Georgian churches in the Kaçkar Mountains of eastern Turkey. This is not a conventional documentary but a perceptual investigation into pure contemplation, evoking a timeless emptiness and profound beauty that arises when facing landscapes or ancient ruins—repositories of centuries-old memories. It is an exercise in admiration.
